Introducing the Enhanced MCT-24DHRD Series Pressure Sensors

We are excited to announce a major expansion to our industry-leading 24 Bit High Resolution Digital Pressure sensor family. With extended port configurations, new coating solutions, versatile output types, and compatibility with liquid media, our sensors are setting a new benchmark for precision and flexibility in demanding applications. Combined with 24-bit digital pressure and temperature outputs that are supported for both SPI and I2C communication protocols, these enhancements ensure unparalleled performance in a wide range of environments.

Unmatched Configuration Options

Our extended MCT-24DHRD pressure sensor family now offers a total of 43  port configurations offered in Thru Hole, J Lead, and SIL lead configurations. This means you can tailor the sensor to meet the unique requirements of your application, whether it involves industrial automation, medical devices, HVAC systems, or process control. From pressure ranges down to 100Pa, to mechanical interfaces, the expanded options ensure seamless integration into your system.

Enhanced Coating Solutions for Robust Performance

To maximize sensor longevity and reliability, we now provide 4 specialized coating options designed to withstand harsh operating conditions or optimized for the lowest thermal errors

  1. N=Dry Gases Media – No sense element coating providing a sensor with the lowest thermal errors and fastest response times

  2. D=Non Ionic Gas with Humidity – Electronics coated with silicone gel providing protection against Humidity, debris and residue buildup.

  3. T=Liquid Media with Protected with Silicone Gel - Optimized for moisture-heavy or liquid level measurements where electronics are fully potted within silicone gel.

  4. V=Liquid Level with Parylene Coating – Highest Protection using Parylene C coating providing the best combination of thermal performance and protection.

These coating options allow our sensors to maintain accuracy and stability even in the most challenging applications, reducing downtime and extending sensor life.

Four Output Types for Greater Flexibility

Our expanded sensor family supports 4 versatile output types to accommodate a variety of control systems and signal processing requirements:

  • Type 1: 10-90%  allows for application where measurements above and below the Pmax and Pmin range is needed.

  • Type 2: 5-95%  allows for measurements with the highest bits per range.

  • Type 3  or 4:  4-94% or 5-85% configurations that match older legacy products from Motorola, Sensym, and Foxboro ICT

These outputs provide engineers and designers with the flexibility to adapt our sensors to their preferred data acquisition platforms and protocols.

Leading-Edge 24-Bit Digital Resolution with SPI and I2C

Accuracy matters, and our sensors deliver with a 24-bit digital resolution, setting the industry standard for precision pressure measurement. Now supporting both SPI and I2C communication protocols, this ensures:

  • Ultra-fine measurement resolution for critical applications

  • Fast and reliable communication for dynamic systems

  • Seamless integration into embedded and industrial environments

With SPI providing high-speed data transfer and I2C offering simplified multi-device communication, you have the flexibility to implement the protocol that best suits your application.
